Silk is wonderful to wear. It protects your hair from dirt and sun. It looks great and feels creamy next to your skin.
The problem is that silk wrinkles and can look crumpled when camping.
This is not so! All you have to do is to spritz the scarf with water (don't wring out) and hang the scarf to dry. The wrinkles will just fall out!
Silks do not have to be dry cleaned. All of our silks are prewashed and excess dye has been removed with a special industrial chemical. It is safe to wash in cold water.
When a silk scarf does get dirty you can machine wash in cold water on the delicate cycle and iron dry. Be sure to use plenty of fabric softener so that it will float on the breeze.
